Built with a new look The RITMSCENAR professional is
only to be used by scenar trained medical professionals. The RITMSCENAR
professional carries the CE mark and is manufactured in The Netherlands.
The outer casing has been totally rethought and has a nicer
appearance, but the main difference between the new SCENAR Pro and it
older counterpart lies in its new wide screen display. |

The
new model is without a doubt, the best step forward in terms of
SCENAR devices. Loaded with many enhanced
features such as its wide screen display and its capacity for maintaining
multiple readings in its memory and a backlit screen, this
is as good as it gets.

The basic
mode of operation of SCENAR devices is to
deliver a "dosage" of electrical stimulation impulses to the body via an
in-built and/or remote electrode in direct contact with the skin surface.
The "dosage" can be delivered automatically or overridden at the
discretion of the operator, with guidance
from visual indicators on numeri LED display (as seen
below). |

 The power output
can be set by the operator to be detectable but comfortable
for the patient. It can also be adjusted during application
should this be required. The maximum current output is 70 mA
and the peak voltage is 180 V, derived from three internal AA
batteries. SCENAR devices
adhere to the concept that the maximum dosage required to
effect change is the most appropriate. There is further
emphasis on increasing information rather than energy
content, thus minimising the triggering of body retaliation
and adaptation mechanisms.

Avazzia Med-Sport |

The Avazzia Med-sport has a simple to use interface, no training is required, it works brilliantly. It has four modes as follows: Relaxation, Acute, Stimulation and Massage. Relaxation mode is so simple to use it will even beep at you as progress is made, and works brilliantly for minor aches and pains. Massage mode is best used for "Painting the area" which involves simply rubbing the device over the area of pain as if you were using a paint brush. Stimulation mode is what you switch to after relaxation and massaging, it will do as it says and stimulate the area. Acute mode is to be used for specialized application of the device. All you really have to do is go through the cycle of modes as required to manage your pain, its that simple. |

Relaxation mode is so simple to use it will even beep at you as progress is made, and works brilliantly for minor aches and pains. Cycle mode works by going through all of the modes over time and works great for hard to reach places with the assistance of the conductive pads. Stimulation mode is what you switch to after relaxation and massaging, it will do as it says and stimulate the area. Deep stimulation mode is a more intense version of stimulation, helping to relax the muscles and relieve tension. RITMSCENAR intermediate device is designed by
OKB RITM for use at home, during business trips, when travelling by plane,
train, etc. to relieve any pain and to reduce traumatic pain.

SCENAR Applications. |
|
|
|
Back pain, arthritis, migraine, sports injuries, period pains
and even non-painful conditions such as sleeplessness and
stress are said to improve with electrical stimulation from a
TENS device. But the biggest complaint is that the body seems
to get accustomed to TENS treatments and the improvements are
often short-lived. |
|
|
|

The effectiveness of SCENAR Therapy for Pain relief is
substantial and lasts longer than other pain control methods.
A Macquarie University (Sydney, Australia) randomized control
trial using a (SCENAR Personal device) versus conventional
TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator) has been
conducted in Sydney and this showed 'dramatic and sustained
results' with chronic pain reduction, functional improvements
and general health restoration. |

|
SCENAR therapy is a whole body treatment system that never
ceases to amaze. |
|
|
|
Because the SCENAR works with the brain instead of excluding
it, a profound change in perception and consciousness at all
levels is usually reported. By interacting with the skin,
the device’s electrodes are able to sense areas of higher
stress. Information from this site is then sent to the Central Nervous System or CNS.
Through a process called interactive biofeedback, the
information is sent through the SCENAR and resent to the CNS
in an ever-changing cycle. This discourages habituation which
is the very reason why other devices fail. The end product is
that the CNS is forced into dealing with a situation that
otherwise may be sent to the back burner and not dealt with.
In its urgency, the Brain will use a series of neuropeptides
to deal with any situation that it deems to be vital.
Neuropeptides are informational molecules that help the body
maintain homeostasis. Disease states establish themselves
when the brain is incapable of maintaining an internal balance
called “homeostasis”. |

SCENAR
interprets information from the skin. |
|
|
|
Using a biofeedback technique called “Galvanic Skin Response”,
the SCENAR is able to interpret areas of higher stress and
feeds the information back to the user via its large backlit
screen in the form of numbers and figures. This way the
therapist saves valuable time by being able to identify areas
for stimulation to achieve maximum relief. Other feedback is
interpreted by the way the device glides over the skin
(stickiness) or by the highlighting of what the Russians call
“small asymmetries”. These indicators are of great value and
will dictate the therapist’s choice of settings. |

Why the skin? |
|
|
|
In embryology, we know that within the Ectoderm, there is an
outermost layer of cells that develop and differentiate into
skin, nails, hair and the Nervous System. Since the nervous
system and the skin play a major role in regulating the body
as a whole, it is not unreasonable to consider being able to
regulate the body’s systemic functions by influencing the
skin. |

|
The brain and local neural reflexes then are continuously
monitoring ever-changing stimuli coming from the outside via
the skin. It would appear that these stimuli are continuous
and infinitely variable as one can imagine. Their major
purpose is to maintain homeostasis or equilibrium between what
is perceived and the body’s requirement to achieve, be it
“fight or flight” or eat, sleep, digest, assimilate, etc.

 The
restoration of the parasympathetic response improves the flow
of blood to tissues and organs which allow them to function
better resist damage and recover easier from injury.

temperature and can impart an emotional sense of well-being.

proven to block electromagnetic emissions such as those from
